At Sunshine Care, we believe that keeping the body and mind active is not only good for our residents’ well-being, but gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment. Around here, there is never a dull moment.

We welcome families of residents to visit often and join in on our numerous activities. We have a busy events calendar and encourage family members to accompany their loved ones to these entertaining outings. You may also want to sit in on our Memories in the Making program, where residents with memory difficulties have the unique opportunity to express themselves through creative art.

Our Intergenerational Programs include weekly visits from local schools. Classrooms of preschoolers to fourth graders join residents to explore current curriculum topics, play games, solve puzzles and read stories.  Our Garden Club combines youngsters with residents to enjoy nature, planting of seeds, watering, weeding and harvesting…a complete seed to table experience that begins in our greenhouse and ends in the Children’s Garden.
